Jordan Lotomba – $6.6 Million

Jodan Lotomba is a 22-year-old Swiss defender who spent a few years in the Young Boys system before moving to Nice last year. Contracted until 2025, Lotomba will take a bit more money than the rest to get but he is a budding defender.

Making 36 starts for Nice and playing more than 2500 minutes, about 62% of those available playing a bit of everywhere on the flanks for Nice. Starting mostly at right-back (15 times), but also playing left-back, left midfield, and right midfield.

Lotomba is a good passer – completing more than 82% overall – who mostly plays short to medium length balls. Not the tackler the rest of the defenders are, Lotomba is adept at staying in front of his man and slowing him down. Most of all, Lotomba is simply not afraid of the ball. His touches per minute played is outstanding as he is a reliable outlet for teams that want to play out of the back.

Again, the contract may be a bit of an issue running until 2025, however, anything north of $10-12 million could get Valencia to potentially consider, given his value is $6.6 million  (£4.65 million).
