Tottenham Hotspur fans split on the return of Pochettino
By Aaron Coe
This has already been quite a week for Tottenham Hotspur fans as the rumors over the next manager of the team swirl. This week, we have heard that Spurs were after Roberto Martinez, Graham Potter, Antonio Conte, and of course Mauricio Pochettino. It is the possibility of the Argentine returning that has most of the fan base in an uproar. The reality is, opinions are split over whether or not it makes sense to bring back Pochettino now.
Tottenham Going Back to the Future?
It was just 19 months ago that Tottenham had given up on the Mauricio Pochettino project and was looking to move in a new direction. Presumably, what the Argentine was saying to Daniel Levy about the need for a massive overhaul to the squad did not go over well.
Now after 18-months of the Jose Mourinho experience, Tottenham Hotspur is back at square one looking for a new coach, likely to overhaul a now long-overdue rebuild. With several names swirling, some with amazing CVs like Conte, the one that seems to generate the most excitement – positive and negative – is Mauricio Pochettino coming back to Tottenham Hotspur.
Not everyone is excited for Pochettino
All things Tottenham was pretty clear in their thoughts about not wanting Poch back and they are not alone.

TalksSport is unimpressed that Pochettino might be chosen over two proven winners. Of course, Conte has been linked with Tottenham, but Zinedine Zidane certainly has not.
And some fans simply wanted a new direction and new blood and favor the young up-and-comer, Graham Potter.
Some fans are in a frenzy over the Tottenham return
Given the way Pochettino left the club, some fans believe him coming back would be a sign the club is ready to really invest.
Maybe the most logical point is the fact that if anyone is going to be successful rebuilding this team it is Pochettino who knows the team inside and out.
Whether or not you are on the Pochettino Part II bandwagon or not. One tweet certainly explains the situation perfectly.
What do you think? Do you want Pochettino back? Why or why not?
