Three players we know are leaving Tottenham Hotspur this summer
By Aaron Coe
With the 2020/21 Premier League season now officially in the books, the chaos that is the transfer window is drawing near. We all know Tottenham Hotspur has a lot of work to do with the administration and players in the short window before the League starts again on August 14, just a mere 82 days from now. Even without a director of football or a manager, we do know at least three players are going to be leaving the club.
Danny Rose was still at Tottenham
Technically, the last time Danny Rose dressed for Tottenham Hotspur was November 30, 2020, providing the only assist in a 1-5 drubbing by the Leicester U23 team of Spurs same squad. It was the second time in November Rose suited up for the Spurs U23 team and was the last two times he put on the Cockrel for the club.
With 214 senior appearances for the club, it is a sad ending that his last time in the shirt was with the U23 team. Prior to the youth team appearance for the 30-year-old left-back, Danny Rose last played 69 minutes in a 0-1 loss to Liverpool in January of last year. With Rose out of contract on 30 June of this year, he will finally be free to find a new club and the club will be free to move on.
Maybe one day in the future Rose will get a testimonial for the 14 years he spent at the club but not likely anytime soon. Besides Rose, there are two more players we know are leaving the club, mostly because they have already left.
