Full Tottenham Line-up and Bench

With Spurs in a 4-1-4-1, we see a team that will be both more balanced and progressive. Højbjerg can easily slot into a back three in possession and can stop covering players out wide. With five dedicated to both sides of the ball, Tottenham will be looking to outscore Southampton.

Spurs Substitutes Bench

The first Tottenham substitute bench will be very familiar, led by Joe Hart, Giovani Lo Celso, and Harry Winks. The real questions are around how many defenders will be in the nine on the bench three or four not including Hart. Also, will a backup striker be included, which means Alfie Devine or Dane Scarlett could get a call over a more senior player. Ultimately, we think there is no true like-for-like striker on the bench and more defenders than attackers but the team is what it is.

Hart – Lo Celso – Winks – Sanchez – Tanganga – Doherty – Moura – Lamela – Dier

So this is our first Mason XI plus nine, who do you think gets the call against Southampton? Who would you start?
