Forwards and Formation

Hopefully Harry Kane’s knock isn’t more severe than first thought. He will rest and ice the bruise incessantly in order to be ready for the gargantuan affair. If he can’t go, Jose will most likely play Son up front, with Erik Lamela and Lucas Moura in support.

But let’s assume Kane is good to go. That will mean Moura should start in the No. 10 role. The Brazilian is relatively fresh after his second half cameo last night and is better suited to drive at David Luiz at pace. Moura’s compatriot cannot cope wth Moura’s speed, the primary reason for his selection on Sunday. Lamela and Dele both started and should be available off the bench. Lamela impressed once again against Zagreb and should start if Moura doesn’t. Although Dele definitely didn’t disappoint, even if his final touch let him down.
