2. Teams trending in different directions

Tottenham won their second consecutive match at Fulham on Thursday evening. It was the first time they’ve won two in a row since winning four on the trot in November, a run culminating in a 2-0 victory over Manchester City, which was the last time the runaway leaders were beaten.

Tottenham have managed to keep clean sheets in their last three victories, leading one to believe another tight defensive battle will be on offer.

Contrastingly, Palace have won just one of their last five fixtures, a run that has seen Palace shutout on four occasions. Palace haven’t scored in two matches and only mustered two goals during the recent poor run of form.
