Tottenham’s season on the domestic front has turned sour in the last two months, with three players struggling the most to break out from their respective downturns.

Earlier in the week I featured Tottenham’s top five players of the campaign thus far. But where excellence resides in a team, so too does meagreness. These three individuals have endured a year they’ll want to forget, begging the question of whether they still have futures to look forward to at the club.

There are a few honourable mentions who didn’t quite make the list, including Moussa Sissoko, Gareth Bale and Dele Alli, prior the pair’s recent turnaround, and Harry Winks, who has played a bit part role for the lion’s share of the campaign.
