Tottenham and Everton battle this evening at Goodison Park with a berth in the FA Cup quarterfinal up for grabs.
Still competing on four fronts, Tottenham will devote all possible resources to eliminating a highly motivated Toffees side, who’ve also cast their eyes on the coveted domestic prize.
Let’s dive into some stats in the lead up to tonight’s cup tie.
Everton
- In the Premier League, Everton hold claim to the joint-fifth worst home record, taking 14 points from a possible 30
- Everton have the joint-eighth worst defensive record at home, conceding 15 times in 10 matches
- Dominic Calvert-Lewin has 13 goals in the top flight, level with Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min
- Calvert-Lewin equalized late against Manchester United on Sunday, and is expected to start
- This is the first FA Cup meeting between Everton and Tottenham since the 1994-95 semi-final, when Spurs lost 4-1 at Elland Road. The Toffees went on to win that FA Cup.

- Son Heung-Min has been involved in 20 goals in 22 appearances in the FA Cup (12 goals, 8 assists)

- Tottenham have the joint-eighth top away record in the Premier League. This will be their third consecutive away match in the FA Cup
- Tottenham’s last win away from home came in the FA Cup, a 4-1 win over Wycombe thanks to three late goals.
