Tottenham Complete Formation and Bench

Tottenham Hotspur continue with the back three facing a Brighton team that normally plays two forwards. Further, the play of Tanguy Ndombele and Pierre Højbjerg as a pair in the midfield has been excellent and Spurs need to build on that success.

Tottenham Substitutes

Supporting that XI Spurs have plenty of firepower and not nearly as much defensive depth as they normally do with some players on the naughty list. Spurs need a backup keeper so we have Joe Hart, although Gazzaniga has been spotted once or twice of late.

Defensively Eric Dier and Japhet Tanganga are both on the bench. Additionally, Moussa Sissoko is on the pine, as he can provide depth in the midfield or in defense. The midfield is further complimented by Harry Winks – not deserving of a start after Thursday – and Gedson Fernandes, still a part of the team and injuries may give him a chance yet.

Finally, there is some serious firepower with Gareth Bale, Carlos Vinicius and Giovani Lo Celso returning to the bench from injury for Tottenham. Lo Celso is more of an emergency replacement, but given Spurs form, Mourinho wants all the help he can get. While many will say we should see Dele if you cannot practice you cannot play and everything we hear says he is not practicing.

Here is the Tottenham staring XI as we have projected:

Tottenham XI 3-4-3

Lloris

Sanchez – Alderweireld – Rodon

Moura – Ndombele – Højbjerg – Davies

Lamela – Son – Bergwijn

Tottenham Bench

Hart – Dier – Tanganga – Sissoko – Winks – Fernandes – Bale – Vinicius – Lo Celso

This is who we have, what do you think Mourinho and Spurs will do?
