Tottenham Hotspur Projected XI for Fulham in Premier League

Tottenham Full XI and Nine on the Pine
José Mourinho must be enjoying having the ability to select nine players for his bench in most of his competitions now. For one thing it lessens the number of players people must ask about missing from the team. Additionally, it provides nice coverage for all parts of the pitch, which used correctly. We know Giovani Lo Celso is out, and Lamela maybe is available, so who gets this chance?
Bench Defense
Joe Hart continues to get the call as the number two behind Hugo Lloris. While the sighting of Paulo Gazzaniga at the weekend caught our attention, it likely means little. Hart is joined by a trio of defenders. Toby Alderweireld is in the team as he can play either center back spot and both Ben Davies and Japhet Tanganga also make the bench. Davies is almost always in the team as a closing option for Mourinho. Tanganga is a utility defender who apparently can even play some defensive midfield in a pinch, so he makes sense to round out that group.
Bench Midfield and Offense
Tottenham will carry five players that can play in the midfield or in the attack, but only one is not an attacker. Moussa Sissoko played a half against Marine and is available and likely to play the last 30 minutes of the match, depending on the situation. Besides Sissoko, Mourinho has a lot of options for offensive selections. Our thought is he rewards Carlos Vinicius for the hattrick with a spot on the pine next to his fellow countryman Lucas Moura. Finally, Gareth Bale and Dele Alli round out the bench, as Mourinho wants all kinds of options as anything less than three points becomes less and less acceptable.
