Both Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane scored and assisted, as Tottenham stars shined in an emphatic 3-0 victory over Leeds in the Premier League.

Tottenham Hotspur got what they needed in a big win over Leeds United. The team was led by the twin talisman Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son as Spurs smashed and grabbed against a bright Leeds side. Despite conceding possession most of the match, Tottenham produced both more and better chances taking all three points. Here are our HotspurHQ ratings for the lads from the win.

Spur’s Stars – Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son

Both Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son scored. Both Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son provided an assist. In fact, the assist from Kane to Son on his goal marked the record tying 13th time the two have connected for a Tottenham goal this season. With and without the ball, Kane and Son made the Tottenham team go on the day.

The movement of both men was excellent. Kane spent much of the afternoon dropping deep into the midfield and then did a bit of everything with the ball. Kane looked to play through balls forward to both Steven Bergwijn and Son. Kane also did more dribbling in the midfield today than we normally have seen from the striker. Kane completed a game high six dribbles according to whoscored.com, and made Spurs dynamic on the ball.

Son did the hard work of making the runs off that movement to find space for himself and create space for others. Son’s movement off Kane and in anticipation of the pass for the second goal – his 100th as a Spur – was a thing of beauty and displayed the incredible connection between these two now. When Kane and Son are on like they were Saturday, it makes life hard for anyone on the other side, today it just happened to be Leeds.
