Tottenham Hotspur have now gone four straight Premier League matches without a win, as Spurs drew with Wolves at Molineux, here are our ratings from the match.

In what is starting to feel like a trend, even a new formation failed to hold the lead for Spurs, as Tottenham went into a shell for much of the match. The inability to maintain possession, rather than want possession seemed to be the real problem for Spurs. In the second half in particular Tottenham could not retain the ball long enough to get a second goal and create some breathing room. Instead Spurs again conceded late and missed a big opportunity to move up in the table. On another evening where fans were left guessing as to Spurs real plan, how did everyone perform?

Standout Spur – Tanguy Ndombele

Even without the goal in the first minute of the match, Tanguy Ndombele was certainly the best Tottenham player on the ball in the game for Spurs. While not the best passer on the night, Ndombele was the one player who – in the first half – managed to get the ball and link up the defense with the offense.

Tanguy did an excellent job holding the ball; whether holding the ball and taking a foul; holding the ball and finding a passing lane or holding the ball and attacking on the dribble. Ndombele was the best Spur in the middle of the pitch holding the ball under the relentless Wolves pressure. A perfect example of this was about 20 minutes when Tanguy collected the ball about 30 yards from his own goal and then dribbled until he was about 30 yards away from the Wolves goal.

While maybe he should have chosen to pass to Harry Kane instead of Sergio Reguilón, Ndombele was simply taking what the defense gave him as both defenders shaded heavily toward Kane. If anything, maybe Ndombele should have kept going and forced more of a decision defensively.

Tanguy was good on both ends of the pitch, winning both of his attempted tackles and creating Spurs lone free kick shooting opportunity by pressuring Conor Coady. After a few below average performances – for Tanguy – Sunday the Frenchman was back near the top of his game.

So Ndombele was the best, how about the rest? Here are our complete ratings from the draw.
