Tottenham Hotspur try to get back on track in the Premier League and build on their Carabao Cup success versus Wolves, here is our projected XI for the match.

Wolverhampton Wanders have not quite been as good as in years past this season, but they are still essentially a top half club, who can beat any team on any day. With Tottenham Hotspur seemingly righting the ship in the Carabao Cup midweek, Spurs look to build on the victory over Stoke and get back to their winning ways in the Premier League against Wolves, with a familiar XI that carries some of the Carabao Cup with it.

Availability an Issue

Sometimes the best ability is availability and right now it seems like once again the Argentine attacker Giovani Lo Celso is going to be out. Likewise, after asking off in the last match, there are questions as to the availability of Gareth Bale as well. Both players are ones who Spurs are counting on this season, but neither can do anything for Tottenham from the sick bay.

Additionally, Japhet Tanganga continues to be out, but Joe Rodon – who was already cup tied from earlier in the season with Swansea – is available for the defense. Also, Erik Lamela made a successful return to the squad in the match against Stoke and presumably would be available for at least the 30 minutes he played midweek. With Harry Winks, Davinson Sanchez, and Dele Alli all making an impression against Stoke – good or bad – here is the line-up we think José Mourinho goes with.
