Tottenham are rumored to have interest in making a couple more signings.

Tottenham Hotspur should be applauded for their work in the transfer window so far, most notably bringing back club hero Gareth Bale on loan from Real Madrid.

In total, Spurs have added four players who could potentially be regular starters. Along with Bale, the club has signed left-back Sergio Reguilon, right-back Matt Doherty, and central midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.

They’ve also brought in goalkeeper Joe Hart to back up Hugo Lloris; Hart has a lot of Premier League experience and won the title with Manchester City.

However, Spurs don’t seem to be done just yet. With less than two weeks to go until the transfer window shuts, there’s still work to be done, most notably in the search for a new striker and center-back.

According to Alasdair Gold of football.london, Tottenham are in talks with Inter Milan about a potential transfer for center-back Milan Skriniar. This would be another great signing for Spurs as Skriniar could be a regular starter in the middle of Jose Mourinho’s defense. Gold added that Tottenham want to lower the transfer fee with Inter wanting around £50 million.

It would be a great piece of business for Spurs if they can pull it off.

At striker, Gold added that Tottenham are keeping their options open as they look for a talented striker who is willing to be the number two behind Harry Kane. That could mean less playing time, more appearances off the bench, and fewer opportunities to start.

If Tottenham can find the answer at both positions, they’ll be well set for the season. They now have great depth at a few positions such as as attacking midfielder, goalkeeper, and at both full-back spots.

Strengthening at center-back and striker is the final goal on the to-do list, and based on the report by football.london, it seems Mourinho and Tottenham agree.
