Three biggest questions for Tottenham Hotspur this summer.

With a short turnaround between seasons, Tottenham Hotspur don’t have long to make the necessary changes to the squad before the Premier League returns.

Spurs have already made some changes to the squad, most notably signing central midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg from Southampton. Goalkeeper Joe Hart could be the next addition, with Sky Sports reporting the former Manchester City number one is “set to sign” after having a medical on Monday.

But other than that, it’s been all outgoings for Spurs so far this summer. Central defender Jan Vertonghen and goalkeeper Michel Vorm left after their contracts expired, while right back Kyle Walker-Peters has joined Southampton, Luke Amos has gone to QPR, and Oliver Skipp has moved to Norwich on loan.

So, what’s next for Tottenham ahead of the new Premier League season?

Well, we can expect more changes to be made. More players will likely depart either in permanent deals or on loan, while we can also expect Spurs to bring in more talent before the transfer window slams shut.

Tottenham’s aim is to close the gap to the top teams in the league and make a quick return to the Champions League after finishing sixth this past season.

Ahead of the 2020/21 season, here are the three biggest questions Spurs need to answer.
