Why Tottenham fans should be excited about ‘All or Nothing’
Tottenham fans should be excited about the upcoming ‘All or Nothing’ documentary series.
Since Tottenham Hotspur‘s trip to the Champions League final last June, it’s been somewhat of a bumpy ride for the club.
Spurs have swapped Champions League football for Thursday nights in the Europa League, and the form dipped so much that Spurs opted for a managerial change. Fan-favorite Mauricio Pochettino was replaced with one of the most successful managers in recent times, Jose Mourinho.
All of this was captured by the Amazon cameras as part of the “All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur” docuseries.
There are nine episodes in total, which will be released in blocks of three starting on August 31. Episodes 4-6 will then be released on September 7, and finally episodes 7-9 on September 14. It will be available to watch on Prime Video.
While some Spurs fans aren’t looking forward to the series due to Tottenham’s disappointing season, this should be a fascinating watch for all fans of the club.
Of course, there will be some tough parts to watch including the end of Pochettino’s managerial reign, but getting a behind-the-scenes look at Mourinho’s midseason arrival is insight fans rarely get to see. It’ll be interesting to see Mourinho’s interactions with the players from day one until the end of the season.
It’ll give insight into his decisions, his relationship with the players, and perhaps an indication of the direction the club is going in under Mourinho’s leadership.
This could also be a historic docuseries as it captures the COVID-19 break in March, the season being paused, then restarted in the summer with no fans. And if there’s a positive, it will be to see Tottenham finish the season on a winning run with optimism for the future.
This documentary will give fans an insight into Mourinho and his coaching style, as well as the personalities of the players, and how everything unfolds at the club each day.
It may have been a disappointing season, but this is set to be an excellent docuseries and I can’t wait to watch it.
