Three dream signings for Tottenham in the summer transfer window.

Tottenham Hotspur are expected to announce the signing of midfielder Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg soon, but the work in this summer’s transfer window is far from over. Spurs need to continue to add pieces to their squad to push on from last season’s sixth-place finish in the Premier League.

After reaching the Champions League final a year ago, Spurs failed to push on and made a disastrous start to the 2019/20 season, leading to Mauricio Pochettino being sacked, something that would’ve been hard to believe just months before. Enter Jose Mourinho, who ultimately turned things around, but it was clear a lot of work still needs to be done.

Signing Hojbjerg is a great start. His role as a defensive midfielder will help fix a major weakness in the Tottenham lineup. He can become a key starter for Mourinho next season.

But Spurs could still be in the market for a right back, a backup striker, central defender, and more attacking playmakers. They’re not going to spend big money and will likely prioritize young players, but that doesn’t mean there can’t be a couple of exceptions to that.

In this article, we’ll look at three dream moves for Tottenham in this transfer window. Some are more realistic than others, but they are signings that would be home-runs for Spurs.
