Getting the result isn’t always about being the better team, as Tottenham were clinical when they needed to be to oust Southampton from the FA Cup. 

Spurs showed character and resilience to bolster their chances of ending a trophy-less dry patch that dates back to 2012. Son Heung-Min’s late penalty winner put Jose Mourinho’s team through to the fifth round of the FA Cup where they will host Norwich.
