Lo Celso, Lamela, Sanchez shine in loss: Player ratings against Reds

Giovani Lo Celso and Erik Lamela turned the tide for Tottenham, who were a whisker away from stealing a point against the league leaders.

Lo Celso and Lamela staked their claim on starting spots after the Middlesbrough match. They didn’t get the nod, as Jose Mourinho instead decided instead for a more cautious starting team.

But both players made a massive impact on proceedings, almost spurring Tottenham to a draw. Unfortunately another poor first half cost Spurs in the end.
