Hit by a rash of recent injuries, Tottenham host the only side not to lose this season with a bundle of personnel problems to overcome.

Team update

Let’s start with the good news. Hugo Lloris is back to limited training with the club. He’s expected to return to full training with his teammates in the next 10 days and may be in contention for selection by the end of the month. Just the type of news Spurs needed as they endure a tough period.

Tanguy Ndombele probably won’t feature against Liverpool, as the Frenchman is still suffering from the hip injury he suffered away at Southampton. Moussa Sissoko went under the knife to repair a bum knee and will be out until at least April, devastating news for Jose and company. Our main man Harry Kane is out until March with a torn hamstring.

Ben Davies and Michel Vorm are also on the injury list.
