Christian Eriksen, Serge Aurier and Danny Rose have worn out their welcome at Tottenham and all three need to be shown the door during the forthcoming transfer window.

Adios Christian Eriksen

Long gone are the days when Erisken makes a memorable impact on a match. He hasn’t been on top form for at least half a year, and is now as absent as a runaway father who never returns home.

The depressing Dane endured yet another howler at Anfield yesterday. Ok, so Mauricio Pochettino shouldn’t have selected him in the first place, but Eriksen must take accountability for a laughable outing.

The onus is on creative central midfielders to pull the strings and find incisive passes that stretch the opposing defence. Eriksen could only muster bundles of up-and-unders you’re more used to seeing at the World Cup of Rugby. His shambolic attempt at defending also ended in misery, with Andrew Robertson running riot all afternoon.

Sayonara Serge Aurier

Serge Aurier has cost Tottenham more points in his two-year tenure than Dejan Lovren has during his five seasons at Liverpool. That’s saying something. No matter the competition, Aurier continually proves how ruinous he is to the club’s cause. Whether via poorly timed, schoolboy tackles or his inexplicably erratic play, Aurier always finds a way to stick to Tottenham faithful.

I wouldn’t be surprised to find out Aurier is a mole paid by Arsenal to implode Tottenham from within. See ya later Serge.

Next. Individual mistakes once again cost Tottenham dearly in Liverpool loss. dark

Farewell Danny Rose

Danny Rose has served Tottenham admirably since joining the club in 2007. You might recall his debut cracker against Arsenal in 2010. Now that’s a memory Spurs supporters won’t soon forget.

Unfortunately Danny isn’t aging like a fine wine. He has become a liability at left back, totally unsure and unaware of his surroundings. Rose has also adopted prodigiously erratic behaviour. He’s had his problems off the field, but more concerning are his on-the-pitch antics. He will always have a spot in Spurs folklore but it’s time to spend his final years at a club more suited for his diminished capacity.
