Mauricio Pochettino’s top ten signings at Tottenham
By Gary Pearson
8. Kieran Trippier — Signed July 1, 2015
The Bury Beckham enjoyed his best stint at Spurs in 2017-18, when he had a fruitful season as the club’s first choice right back. He carried that momentum into the World Cup where he scored the most iconic goal, from a free kick against Croatia in the semifinal, of his career thus far.
Trippier endured a prolonged dip in form after the World Cup, though. Plagued by inconsistency and inconceivable errors, Trippier has fallen out of favour in North London, and is expected to depart this summer, most likely heading for Turin.
