Tottenham Hotspur are hot off of a much-needed win against Watford on Wednesday. They now will host 14th place Newcastle United and get back into the chase for the top spot. Here’s the latest on the Spurs injury situation.
Moussa Sissoko
There were some worries that the Frenchman wouldn’t play at all this week because he got hurt during the Chelsea match. After not even making the substitute bench against Crystal Palace, he started the Watford game. Sissoko will likely get some playing time today since he didn’t play the full 90 minutes against the Hornets.
Ben Davies
Davies hasn’t made the bench for the last 2 matches and it looks like he won’t face Newcastle either. It was revealed that he is still recovering from his groin injury and there is no definite date for his return. Danny Rose has filled Davies’ role in his absence.
Victor Wanyama
The Kenyan may make the subs list as he has been regularly seen in training recently. Today, he may get his first Premier League minutes since week 12.
Harry Kane
While it was originally thought that Kane would return sometime in March, there is a sliver of hope that he makes it back even sooner. He was injured by Phil Jones during the Manchester United match on the 13th of January. Kane will be out for a few more weeks but he is recovering faster than expected. He recently uploaded a video on Twitter showing him doing a series a exercises and running at a decent pace. Perhaps the injury wasn’t as bad as we feared.

Dele Alli
We haven’t received much from Alli’s camp on his recovery. It is thought that his injury will put him out until March 16th. Against Fulham, he re-aggravated a hamstring injury that has been haunting him for a while. According to Tottenham, he is “progressing with rehabilitation.”
