Juan Marcos Foyth

This is a name we will be hearing a lot more of in the coming years. Foyth filled in for Toby Alderweireld as a center back against West Ham. He was positioned alongside Davinson Sanchez. The two defenders played a fantastic game with Foyth receiving much praise.

Foyth stifled attack after attack, showing that he could be a capable replacement for any center back that is injured. Among his highlights on Wednesday night; he stopped several runs by Michail Antonio and Marko Arnautovic and cleared a dangerous pass by Javier Hernandez.

It is generally agreed on in the football word that Argentina has a notoriously bad defense. Foyth will likely be allowed to get the starting spot for his nation soon and this would lead to some vital playing time.

Foyth will play alonside center backs like Alderweireld, Vertonghen, and Otamendi. With these mentors, it may not be too far into the future that the 20 year old could be become a world class defender.
