Both Tottenham and the England national team have missed Dele Alli due to injuries. His hamstring problem has caused him to miss multiple games over the past couple of months. However, there are indications that he is recovering well and will soon get back into action.

Tottenham announced via Twitter that Alli should return to training next week.

This gives a tentative date for his return to the starting lineup. It has been decided that Alli will miss Tottenham’s game away at West Ham. Still, he could be back as early as the match against PSV Eindhoven.

It will have to be all hands on deck for this critical game. This is because Tottenham haven’t done particularly well in the

Champions League

this season. They will need to win both games against the Dutch side if they want a chance to progress to the next round.

Hopefully Alli will be back for this contest on the 24th. If he makes it back in time, he will make the Hotspur attack much more dangerous. It won’t be the end of the world if he doesn’t suit up, though. Tottenham have a few options when it comes to attacking midfielders. Also, PSV won’t be the biggest side the Spurs will face in the near future.
