Harry Kane is catching Real Madrid’s eye

Recent reports have found that Real Madrid are keenly interested in signing Tottenham striker Harry Kane.

Desperate Real

Real Madrid have always been interested in Kane. Now, though, Real are really feeling the sting of letting Cristiano Ronaldo go. They are 4th in La Liga and haven’t scored a goal in their last 4 matches. These were against Sevilla, Atletico, CSKA Moscow, and Alaves.

Real Madrid are desperate for a capable striker and there aren’t many places to look. Obviously, Harry Kane would improve any team but the Madrid team have placed him ‘at the top of their list‘, according to one report.

Kane is as hot as ever with 5 goals and an assist in this year’s Premier League campaign so far. No one could forget Kane’s incredible World Cup this year where he found the back of the net 6 times. That performance earned him the Golden Boot for the competition, thus adding to his worth even more.

All of this has added up to a perfect storm of interest from big clubs. Most transfer business is done in the summer. However, Real Madrid are in dire straits. They need to fill a Ronaldo-sized hole as fast as possible. That is why it could be as soon as January that Kane gets an offer from them.

What it Means for Spurs

Spurs fans shouldn’t worry too much, though. After all, he is on our team and in all likely-hood he will still be for a long time. Also, Pochettino is fantastic at keeping his best players. This was seen during the last transfer window when he didn’t let a single Spur get away.

The interest from Real only solidifies the fact that Kane can lead Tottenham to greatness. Real are perennial favorites in the Champions League and La Liga. They wouldn’t be interested in Kane if they didn’t think he was among the world’s best.
