Tottenham’s most notable moments and performances from 2017-18

Most important goal
Again, the most important goal wasn’t easy to decipher. You have Christian Eriksen’s equalizer against Chelsea, Harry Kane’s crucial winner in the penultimate match versus Newcastle, Victor Wanyama’s equalizer or Kane’s late penalty at Anfield, Eriksen’s first minute winner against Manchester United or Dele Alli’s go-ahead goal at the Bridge.
All of the aforementioned goals were vital in helping Spurs finish third in the league, none more so than Dele’s go-ahead goal at Stamford Bridge on April 1. The 2-1 goal gave Spurs an advantage they’d never relinquish, with Spurs eventually scoring an insurance marker – again, courtesy of Dele – to secure all three points. Who knows what would have happened had Dele not scored that all-important goal, which is clearly deserving of the season’s most important marker.
