Son Heung-Min continues to grab headlines for his performances on the pitch, but he deserves as much credit, if not more, for the way he carries himself off the field.
A Sonny singalong
Spurs supporters absolutely adore their beloved Son. The humble, affable South Korean is a fan favourite in North London. Always putting forth a professional and workmanlike effort, Son has an abundance of skill to match his tireless work rate. He’s scored seven goals in his last four matches and has 18 goals in all competitions. He’s one of the best supporting acts in the world.

The lyrics are simple, rhythmic and empowering, and they definitely resonate with Son. No other player is loved more than Son, who deserves every ounce of support bellowed his way.

Sutton prefers Son to Alexis Sanchez
Chris Sutton discusses Son’s importance to Tottenham, saying he’d prefer the South Korean to Alexis Sanchez “every day of the week”. I agree wholeheartedly with the former player’s sentiment. Nobody is disputing Alexis’ skill set, but the Manchester United man does things out of self interest, rarely putting the team first. He jumps ship at the first sign of trouble and would throw his teammates under the bus in search of instant glory. Son is the polar opposite, perpetually putting team before individual.
Chris Sutton has said that he would rather have Sonny in his team over Sanchez after saying "I would take Son Heung-min over Sanchez every day of the week... Everything Son does is with a huge smile. Contrast this with Sanchez, who often cuts a moody and sulky figure" #COYS #THFC pic.twitter.com/0cSWSiovGs

Son’s sumptuous scoring
Son is Spurs second most consistent scorer, ahead of Dele Alli. The South Korean has 30 Premier League goals in 91 appearances, scoring once every three matches since joining Tottenham. It’s a goal return most attacking midfielders dream of. Of his 30 goals, Son has scored 16 with this right foot and 12 with his left, showing how comfortable he is on either side. It makes him almost impossible to mark as defenders don’t have the advantage of forcing him on to a weaker side.
This fine young man is a absolute credit to our football club.

Never moans when not selected and keeps banging the goals every week.
Should always be one of the first names on our team-sheet.
Our Sonny always delivers. #COYS#THFCpic.twitter.com/evyP7jfwV2

Nice one Sonny
The most humble, genuine, kind-hearted player you’ll find in the top flight, Son continually shows his gratitude both on and off the pitch. He’s as valuable to the current Spurs side as any other member of the star-studded squad.
