Mauricio Pochettino is planning a double summer swoop for the highly rated Watford duo, Richarlison and Abdoulaye Doucoure when the transfer window re-opens.

Watford have had an up and down season, but the duo have caught the eye of the Spurs boss with some impressive performances.

Brazilian forward, Richarlison was signed by former Watford boss Marco Silva in the summer and has shown some of the freighting potential he possesses in his first Premier League season, hitting the back of the net five times as well as assisting four in 30 appearances for the Hornets.

However, according to Football London, The 20-year-old is not the only Watford man that Spurs are interested in moving to North-London with Pochettino also keen on their French centre-midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure.

Doucoure is attracting all kinds of interest from the biggest clubs in the Premier League with Pochettino prepared to pounce first to capture the 25-year-olds signature.

The Frenchman has scored eight times in all competitions for the Hornets this campaign but has been highly praised by pundits and fans alike for his defensive attributes.

Performances this season have made him regarded as one of the Premier Leagues best central midfielders outside the top six clubs.

It’s still unclear how much Spurs would have to splash out on the two Watford stars, especially now prices for Premier League talent has hit an all-time high.

If the duo continues their fine form into the final part of the Premier League season, however, they would be welcomed with open arms in North-London.

Nevertheless, if Tottenham achieves another top-four finish by the end of the season, it’s in no doubt players will be queuing up to join Pochettino’s revolution.

So what do you think, would a summer raid for the highly-rated Watford duo of Richarlison and Abdoulaye Doucoure be a positive step in the right direction for Spurs, or should Pochettino be looking for bigger and better options around Europe to bolster his squad?
