Tottenham erased two one-goal deficits in the final 10 minutes to decamp Anfield with a share of the spoils, infuriating the Liverpool faithful in the process. 

Still short of breath, I’m just now recovering from the craziest finale to a Spurs match in recent memory. Mauricio Pochettino’s side dominated the second half and are full value for the point, even if the second penalty was of a slightly dubious variety.

While leaving Anfield with a point is invaluably important from a positioning perspective, Spurs’ players will take more positives from the way they asserted themselves in the second half. The confidence boost from such a performance will spur the lads on in vital forthcoming fixtures against Arsenal and Juventus.
