Tottenham player ratings in crucial 1-0 win at Palace

Talk about a nail biter. Playing at Selhurst Park under the lights on Wednesday night football against an in-form Palace team was never going to be easy.
Palace were resolute, well organized and offered Spurs almost no space with which to work. It took a moment of brilliance from a Dane with ice in his veins to escape south London with Spurs most important three points of the season.
Tension levels increased as time seemingly evaporated in the second half, but there’s something special about this current Spurs side. You didn’t know who the goal would from but there was a tactic sense that it a winner would eventually come.
It’s the main difference between the current outfit and Spurs teams of yesteryear. Some players endured a rather difficult day at the office, while others performed admirably under sticky conditions. Let’s see how each player fared.
