Tottenham travel to Monaco in hopes of keeping their Champions League dream alive after a mixed bag of results to start the group stage.

Monaco’s imperious run of form this season make them the clear favorites coming into the match — and history is on their side. Back in September, they earned a shock 2-1 win over Tottenham at Wembley Stadium.

Since then Spurs have narrowly won at CSKA Moscow, drawn at Bayer Leverkusen and then lost to the same at home last time out. The result is that, with two matches left to play, Tottenham sit third in Group E. Should results not break their way, they risk being dropped into the Europa League for the second half of the season.

Mauricio Pochettino rested some key names on Saturday against West Ham in preparation for Tottenham giving it their all at Monaco. We talked a little bit about what the visitors can expect from Leonardo Jardim’s side, and how Spurs can come out with a win.

Alex Balano covered some of the pre-match coverage, including some concerning news that Tottenham’s injury list could be longer on Tuesday evening.
