Good morning and welcome to another edition of Matchday Live, where we will be breaking down in a live(ish) fashion the events that unfold when Tottenham travel to Bournemouth.

After two consecutive draws, Mauricio Pochettino will be anxious for Tottenham to reclaim the momentum that thrust them into the Premier League title race just prior to the international break.

Eddie Howe and Bournemouth won’t be obliged to make it easy on Tottenham however. Though Tottenham soundly defeated them twice last season, this current incarnation of the Cherries will be a tougher nut to crack.

While we wait for lineups, do check out the coverage HotspurHQ has provided over the last few days.

Alex Balano has diligently covered Toby Alderweireld’s injury, as well as Vincent Janssen’s pursuit of his first goal from open play.

Meanwhile, we’ve covered Saturday’s predicted lineup and how it will all come together.

On top of that, we’ve done our usual run down of what Tottenham will be up against. Bournemouth, in sum, have grown to a legitimate candidate for the top half of the table. Their 6-1 win over Hull City is their best result yet in the Premier League, and it might herald more such triumphs to come.

Whether those triumphs will come against Tottenham on Saturday, it remains to be seen. Check back with us about an hour before kickoff (11:30 BST, 6:30 EST) for lineups and reaction.

Then, of course, stick with us as we provide some half-time analysis and final thoughts!

COYS!
