Wales

One of the most shocking results in the Euros qualifying was just how well Wales played. They finished second in their group, and thus qualified for their first major tournament since 1958.

That was thanks in no small part to the efforts of former Tottenham superstar Garth Bale, but the Real Madrid man isn’t the whole story. Among a few other Premier League veterans, Tottenham’ left-back Ben Davies should get regular starts.

Though Danny Rose ended the season as Pochettino’s clear first choice, Davies got plenty of minutes throughout the season to prove his worth to the club and Wales. He will no doubt take some of his improvements in attack with him to France this summer.
