Tottenham Hotspur come from behind in the second half to score three unanswered and pull off the double on Crystal Palace in the Premier League this season.
An own goal from Jan Vertonghen would put Tottenham behind Crystal Palace at the half-hour mark despite dominating their opponents — once again, this month. But not to be deterred from being behind early in the game and trying to catch up with Arsenal, Leicester City and Manchester City above them in the league table, Tottenham turned up the heat in the second half.
After making the switch from Eric Dier to Nacer Chadli, with the Eagles wanting to stay back with their 1-0 lead, Mauricio Pochettino saw an opportunity to put even more pressure on Alan Pardew’s team. And seven minutes later, after coming onto the pitch, Nacer Chadli made an instant impact.
