34. Tom Huddlestone

Stats: 209 appearances, 16 goals, 31 assists

During his first few seasons, Tom Huddlestone established himself as one of the most promising young central midfielders in England at the time. Near the end of the 2006-07 season, Tottenham manager Martin Jol said that Huddlestone reminded him of German legend Franz Beckenbauer due to his playmaking abilities, versatility and shot power. But during the 2011-12 term, after falling out of favor with the team and struggling with injuries, Tom Huddlestone would eventually be sold to Hull City.
