Coming off of a draw against Monaco in the Europa League, this extended Tottenham’s streak (at the time) to a 3W-1D-1L record these past five games in all competitions. In terms of Spurs’ Premier League form, they haven’t lost a game since their opening match against Manchester United on the road having won three and drawn three games. So far, Tottenham are unbeaten and they were looking to get a positive result on a short week against a good Swansea club who, despite losing three out of four games in September, have already put on two impressive results against Chelsea and Manchester United.

Just like any other Premier League club, when it comes to league play, anybody can beat anybody and this season has seen major upsets through the first two months. Last season, Swansea were swept but managed to put three goals against Tottenham in both games. After Sunday’s game, they tacked on another two goals and are proving to be a very underrated team who could consistently challenge for a top ten spot. Drawing once again in the Premier League, and Spurs’ second time in as many games prove that Swansea City is not going to be an easy matchup.
