“Mauricio’s here after our 3-1 win against Qarabağ. They’re a very good team offensively aren’t they?

“Yes, no no no it wasn’t an easy game. They play very well and they’re a good team. After we concede a penalty in the first few minutes, it was difficult but very pleased with the players — with the team — because we showed character and personality and during a different player we play very well.”

“You must be very pleased with how the team responded to that penalty.”

“Yes this is true. It wasn’t easy, but the answer was perfect from the team and in the end, I think we fully deserved the result.”

“Now the fans saw Sonny at White Hart Lane for the first time and he delivered with two goals. It was a good home debut for him wasn’t it?”

“Yes very good debut for him, I’m happy for him, he’s a very nice guy. I’m happy because we were able to score twice to help the team. I’m happy with all the performance. I’m happy for Érik too that he scored. I’m happy with the performance and now we need to prepare for Crystal Palace next Sunday and we need to train again to perform well and to try and win the game.

“You mentioned before that we have lots of options now upfront haven’t we? Lots of players who can play in different positions and we saw that tonight.”

“Yes I think we have a good balance now. A lot of competition in between them. I think that it’s important to have a deep squad and I’m happy for that. We need to recover some players that are still injured, but step-by-step, we cannot take this player and compete better.”

“Debut for Kevin, debut for Sonny, debut for Clinton, a win. Positive night?”

“No, we need to take a lot of positives things, because I think that is very important. We are a very young team — very young squad — a lot of players today. First game with Tottenham, their debut in the competition. It’s never easy, but now I think we need to criticize this game and take a lot of positive things.”
