Two games in and it’s quite obvious which positions Spurs need to improve before the transfer window ends on September 1st. Which position is more important, that’s the question. A quick gut reaction would be the backup striker. However, another area of concern is the defensive midfielder position.

Depending on which area Daniel Levy and Mauricio Pochettino are able to upgrade, it seems that only one position could be improved. While it’s possible that both spots could be fixed at the same time, financially it might not work out knowing how Levy does in transfers and how late he tends to do business.
