Vlad Chiricheș

After arriving to the club last summer, the Romanian international would be limited to only 17 league games due to injury, an unused substitute and left off the squad.

Having spent the past season mostly on the bench, next year should have been better for the 25-year-old center-back. Unfortunately his 2014-15 season was worse, Vlad Chiricheș appeared in less games (10 league games).

Clearly Mauricio Pochettino only played him during an emergency. It seemed that Chiricheș should have started more games to give the starters a rest or two, but the Argentine coach didn’t bother relying on the Romanian.

With the emergence of Eric Dier and now the signings of Kevin Wimmer and Toby Alderweireld, it’s unlikely Vlad Chiricheș returns for another season at White Hart Lane.
