Final Thoughts

Regardless of who wins this game, it’s more important to leave this pre-season friendly with no injuries as the number one priority. Secondly, Mauricio Pochettino will expect improvement from everyone as well as seeing which young player took advantage of the minutes given to him during this game.

If everything goes well, depending on how Tottenham does during the rest of the transfer window, some youth players could be kept instead of being loaned out. If not, then their chances of getting starts in next season’s cup competitions and the prestigious Europa League won’t happen any time soon.

Even though Harry Kane didn’t start in the Premier League until November, he took advantage of the pre-season friendlies in last year’s U.S. tour. When he was given some more starts he made sure that Mauricio Pochettino had to start him as Tottenham’s number one striker. It worked out and now he’s the future of this club.

He hasn’t looked back since then, who could be the next player to do the same?
