Dele Alli (19) – Central Midfield

Dele Alli would be one of the major moves that Tottenham made during the winter.

Signed during the January transfer window, Dele Alli was loaned back to League One to finish his season with MK Dons. Because he was doing exceptionally well, he caught Mauricio Pochettino’s eye and was able to secure the talented player for £5 million.

His ’14-’15 stats, shows he has an eye for goal from the central midfield position.

Appearances: 44 games in all competitions (39 games in League One)

Goals: 16 goals scored (all scored in League One)

Assists: 11 assists in all competitions (9 assists in League One)

**(unfortunately Squawka doesn’t have League One stats)**

Naturally a central midfielder, Dele Alli has experience as a left midfielder and even an attacking midfielder. If Tottenham are unable to find a backup or starter to compete with Nacer Chadli, Dele Alli — like Alex Pritchard — could help out on the left side of Mauricio Pochettino’s 4-2-3-1 formation.
