Petr Čech has been a mainstay with Chelsea for over a decade.
With Thibaut Courtois becoming the starter it has effectively made Čech expendable.
Even after suffering a neck injury in May, he still has a lot left in the tank and wants to go out prove to everyone.
Since he can’t start with Chelsea anymore, it makes since for the Blues to let him go.
Once the transfer window opens, clubs would go to him first because of the supposed £10 million fee that’s needed to secure his transfer.
If that were the case, he could be the first keeper to be signed and start a domino effect throughout Europe looking to upgrade their goalkeeper position.
