Memphis Depay

The latest Tottenham transfer news on possible signings by Spurs renews the club’s interest in Memphis Depay. Spurs were linked with him during the World Cup in Brazil and the Mirror are reporting that Tottenham are chasing the PSV Eindhoven and Holland winger who impressed for Holland and scored two goals in the group stage games. Mauricio Pochettino is keen on the player who is valued at around £14m.

Micah Richards

MirrorSport believe Tottenham are one of a host of Premier League clubs to show an interest in Manchester City’s Micah Richards. Spurs were linked with Richards during the second half of last season and the England international is a player who could provide Tottenham with cover in two positions as a central defender and at right-back. Manchester City, however, are looking for a fee of £7,m which according to the Daily Express has cooled the interest of both Spurs and Liverpool with Richards looking to go out on loan.

Ben Davies

Tottenham’s attempts to sign Ben Davies appear to be reaching a conclusion with reports that the Wales left-back has undergone a medical before signing for Spurs. Davies was not in the Swansea squad which lost to Minnesota United at the weekend. The latest news is that Davies has passed the medical and has travelled with the party to Toronto.

Mirror say Jay Rodriguez is waiting to see how serious interest from Tottenham and Liverpool is before talks with Southampton

(2) Dejan Lovren

The Southampton defender Dejan Lovren, who has been linked with Spurs is expected to complete a £20m move to Liverpool this week according to The Times.

(3) Morgan Schneiderlin

The Mirror suggest that Tottenham will attempt to complete a deal for the Southampton and France midfield player, Morgan Schneiderlin. The question mark over this possible transfer is whether Southampton will be prepared to sell another player having already lost Ricky Lambert, Adam Lallana and Luke Shaw with continued interest for Lovren and Rodriguez.

Sandro has been a target for Rafa Benitez and Napoli for some months. The Mirror are reporting that Sandro will not be leaving White Hart Lane for Napoli as the Italian Cup winners were put off by Daniel Levy’s £16m valuation of the Brazilian midfielder who didn’t travel to the USA for Tottenham’s 3-match tour due to a virus.

Gylfi Sigurdsson

Gylfi Sigurdsson who was a late withdrawal from the Tottenham starting team against Seattle Sounders and is reported to have returned to London which could be part of the deal for Davies with the Icelandic midfielder to move to Swansea.

Danny Rose

If Tottenham complete the signing of Ben Davies, Danny Rose is likely to leave with both Hull City and Sunderland thought to be interested. The Sun are reporting that Hull are expected to make a bid of £6m for Rose.

Kyle Naughton

The Mirror have a report linking Harry Redknapp with three of his former players from his time at Tottenham. He is thought to be trying to sign right-back Kyle Naughton as well as Peter Crouch from Stoke City and Rafael van der Vaart from Hamburg.

There’s another six weeks to the end of the summer transfer window so there could be many more names suggested as possible Tottenham signings.
