Final Thoughts:
Once again, Tottenham drew for the third consecutive time. Positives to take away from their performances is that they’re improving steadily in each game. From Manchester United where an error lead to an own goal, to conceding three goals in quick succession in such heart breaking fashion and now Tottenham recorded their first clean sheet.
The defense has been the position which was strengthened this summer and now it’s coming together. For the central midfield, Eric Dier and whoever his partner is on a game-by-game basis, they do well to help stop opposing teams from having an easy time pushing up the pitch. The attacking midfield is missing Christian Eriksen, but once he returns Tottenham will be close to full strength.
All that’s left is to help supply Harry Kane with service at the top of the box and have Clinton N’Jie and Heung-Min Son integrated into the starting eleven to take advantage of their pace to stretch defenses. Surely with four games down and thirty-four more to go, Tottenham can start the month of September with a win after the international break.
