Tottenham Hotspur fans have been treated to watching some truly incredible players throughout the club's history. That said, what is the greatest Tottenham Hotspur lineup of all-time?

The greatest Tottenham Hotspur lineup of all-time

GK: Pat Jennings CBE

Pat Jennings CBE is an unfortunate case of a player who played for Tottenham and Arsenal. However, he proved his loyalties later in his career, when he returned to Tottenham for a coaching role. Without a doubt, Jennings is the greatest Tottenham goalkeeper of all-time, having made 472 league appearances for the Lilywhites.

RB: Kyle Walker

An established professional who is still playing at the highest level with Man City, it was a delight to see Kyle Walker dominate the left-hand side for Tottenham Hotspur. While more traditional fans will point to the likes of Alf Ramsey, for his sheer world-class ability and consistency for Tottenham (and even after leaving), Walker must get a shout.

CB: Ledley King

One of the finest examples of a one-club man, Ledley King's name is written into Tottenham folklore forever. He gets a lot of respect from Tottenham fans and understandably so, having made 268 league appearances for the club.

CB: Mike England MBE

Imagine a world where King and Mike England MBE could combine in a defensive partnership, it would be lights out for any opposing attacker. Playing in a traditional manner and putting his body on the line across 300 league appearances for Tottenham, England simply had to make the greatest Tottenham lineup of all-time.

LB: Gary Mabbutt MBE

An inspiration to many, Gary Mabbutt MBE played at the highest level and captained Tottenham, despite being diagnosed with type one diabetes. Winning the UEFA Cup and the FA Cup as part of his 477 league appearances for Tottenham, it's a no-brainer.

RM: Gareth Bale

Gareth Bale played for Spurs twice as he also returned on loan from Real Madrid. But it was the exceptional world-class ability he showed at Spurs which made him a contender for Real Madrid. Judging him solely as a player during his Tottenham days, he should be considered as one of the best right-wingers of all-time.

CM: Paul Gascoigne

It wouldn't be an all-time Tottenham XI without Gazza. One of the finest examples of natural talent and likeability, Tottenham were blessed to house Gazza for four years in his earlier stages.

CM: Dave Mackay

It has to be Mackay. A contender for Tottenham's best player of all-time, those who had the pleasure of watching Dave Mackay in action should seriously count themselves lucky. The Scotsman won the First Division, three FA Cups and the European Cup Winners Cup with Tottenham.

LM: Glenn Hoddle

Given that he is one of the greatest technical players of all-time, you could stick Hoddle anywhere in this lineup and he would fit in. One of the greatest players to ever play for Spurs, the 88 league goal midfielder simply had to make the cut.

CF: Jimmy Greaves MBE

Jimmy Greaves MBE is one of the best strikers of all-time and it was demonstrated in his earlier years with Tottenham Hotspur, where he scored an impressive 220 league goals in nine years. Having won the FA Cup twice and the European Cup Winners Cup, Greaves would have no regrets looking back at his time with Tottenham.

CF: Harry Kane

Dubbed as "one of their own", Harry Kane is one of the best players to come through the Tottenham youth academy. Despite not winning a trophy in North London, the Englishman scored 213 Premier League goals, proving himself to be one of the best strikers of his generation.
