Conversation Corner: Tottenham against Swansea City
Ben Davies:
“Ben’s with us down at the tunnel at Swansea. Well it ended two-all Ben, I mean we’ve come from behind twice but, we should have won that shouldn’t we? “
“Yeah so hard fought on the pitch really, we had plenty of chances really, where we could have done better a lot better and it’s a shame to not have come away with three points really.”
“Their goalkeeper’s ended up making nine saves.”
“Yeah and I think in those nine saves you know a lot of them were good chances for us. And you know it’s a shame at the end of the day that we couldn’t come away with three points. But on the road, a point is a point gained really.”
“Yeah after allowing to be behind by two, here.”
“Yeah exactly. You know the goals we conceded weren’t our best showings really. But, you know sometimes, you have these games and you’ve just got to grind them out and get a result any way you can.”
“Still want to say, a decent point. And we’ve had a good run, I mean seven games in twenty-one days I think it’s been. Unbeaten since the start of the season so we’re going into the international break in a positive mode?”
“Yes, it’s a bit of a strange feeling really. You know it’s a game we probably should have won and it’s a bit disappointing to not have done that. But, yeah the international break now, we’ve got a couple of important games for Wales but you know when we’re back at — when we’re back it’s; guess we’re right back at it.”
“So you’re here in Wales, and you’ve got two massive games coming up, you need two points. We spoke about it last week, how’d you feel?”
“Yes, it’s a massive week for us really and we’re to close to it now and last time for us to be over the line really.”
