Paul O Keefe has stated on Twitter that Tottenham still hold an interest in Wolves' Portuguese winger Pedro Neto.

O Keefe said that Spurs had interest in Neto and Barcelona winger Raphina back in February. He went onto say recently that Spurs had 'cooled' that interest in Neto, but is now a consideration again.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the doubt that Spurs have had is the injuries that come as part of the package with Neto. His injury history is well documented and is probably the only, or at least the main reason, that Neto is still at Wolves. Whether Spurs decide the risk is worth taking, we will see.

Neto has not played more than 20 Premier League games in a single season since the 20/21 season, where his injury nightmares began with an ACL injury over Fulham in April. It likely very cruelly cost him a place in Portugal's European Championship squad that summer, having played in 2 of Portugal's World Cup qualifiers just a couple of weeks prior.

it is worth noting that Ange Postecoglu's high octane, highly intense style of play might be a terrible recipe for Neto's hamstrings. We have already seen Micky Van De Ven's hamstring go against Chelsea back in November, when covering long distances, an injury that kept him out for two months.

Neto is absolutely a sublime player when he is fit, a quick and creative player, capable of playing on either wing or even as a number 10. Whilst there was a slice of fortunte with the way the ball fell to team mate Francisco Conceição, his directness lead to Portugal's late winner aginst Czechia in Portugal's first game of the European Championships.

So it is a bit of a catch 22. In a way, Neto's pace and directness suits an Ange Postecoglu side, providing width and an ability to provide width and go down the outside on either wing. But the high intensity could be a terrible match with his infamous injury record.
