Tottenham transfer target dreams of playing for Chelsea

One area of the pitch where Spurs are cut short is the defence. While Ange Postecoglou has done an adequate job considering the resources available to them, Tottenham cannot go into another season with same defensive frailties. They have conceded 49 goals so far this Premier League season which is simply not good enough.

Therefore, it is no surprise to see Tottenham targeting a new defensive full-back. According to a report from Sport Witness, Tottenham are one of the interested clubs in Lecce's left-back Patrick Dorgu, as they have joined the race alongside Juventus.

However, the report does state that Dorgu "dreams" of playing for Chelsea, which is obviously not a great look.

Bryan Gil could join Feyenoord as "several offers" made

One Tottenham player who is not likely to stay in North London next season is Bryan Gil. The failed signing has not had the best time in England as a lot of it has been spent on loan, trying to impress his Tottenham managers but failing.

Now, it looks likely that the Spanish player could be on his way out of the club, in a move which would benefit all parties.

According to an update by 1908, Eredivisie side Feyenoord have made "several offers" to land Bryan Gil in the summer transfer window and it does not look like they will give up anytime soon.

There is certainly a gem to be unlocked in Gil but it is pointless for Tottenham to continue trying. Clearly, he is not made for the Premier League and he is not the kind of player who is included in the long-term plan of Ange Postecoglou. Therefore, selling him is the right move for everybody involved.

Tottenham in pole position to land Aussie wonderkid Thomas Waddingham

As a master of Australian football, it is no surprise that Ange Postecoglou has targeted one of his home country's finest wonderkids. According to a report from Football Insider, Tottenham are in pole position to land Thomas Waddingham, who has been making great strides with A-league side Brisbane Roar.
