The new EAFC game, EAFC 25, will be released towards the end of the month. It is that time of year again, and the base ratings have already been released, including the entire Tottenham Hotspur squad.

In addition, a familiar face to Spurs fans has been added, with a player who was at Spurs as recently as 2021.

Gareth Bale has been added as an icon for the new EAFC game, amongst other legends of the game such as Gigi Buffon and Lillian Thuram.

There are two categories for retired players on EAFC, with icons and heroes. Heroes are seen as players who were top players but not quite in that top elite category of players, but more so in the second batch. Heroes in the game that played for Spurs include Robbie Keane, Dimitar Berbatov, Ledley King, Peter Crouch, David Ginola, and Clint Dempsey.

Maicon has been added to the game as a new hero card, so fans will want to run it back with that match-up in game.

Spurs legend Gareth Bale will appear on the new EAFC 25

Bale comes as a much-welcomed addition for Spurs fans, as despite a fair amount of heroes, Gary Lineker is the only icon in the game who has played for Spurs until now. Well, the only one whose name can be mentioned.

He is the second Welsh icon in the game, following Liverpool legend Ian Rush. His six base stats come in at; 95 pace, 89 shooting, 84 passing, 89 dribbling, 65 defending, and 79 physical. His base rating is 88. His position is right-wing, with the right midfield, striker and left-wing are his alternative positions.

The pace (slightly), shooting, and rating feel a little bit harsh there. It is also a shame that there is no left-back alternative position, though understandable given he became such a legend of the game when he moved further up the pitch. He could still get a promo card there later in the game too.

A well-deserved introduction onto the game for one of the best players of his generation, and one no doubt Spurs fans who play EAFC cannot wait to use in game.
